Privacy

This page covers this website and email to us. The Mabillon software runs on your own computer, and how it handles case data is set out in the pilot documents.

This website

  • No cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. The only script on the site plays the example on the home page and sends nothing anywhere.
  • Fonts and images are served from this site. Nothing is loaded from other companies' servers.
  • The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver and protect it, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses under its own privacy policy. We have not turned on Cloudflare's visitor analytics.

Email

  • Mail to [email protected] is forwarded by Cloudflare Email Routing to our team's Gmail inbox, so Cloudflare and Google handle it under their own terms. We use what you send only to answer you and to run a pilot with you.
  • We do not sell or share it for marketing.
  • Please never send case material: no case files, databases or screenshots of evidence.
  • To have your emails deleted, ask us at the same address.

The demo form

  • The form on the Book a demo page collects your first and last name, work email, role and what you write in the message box. The form sends nothing else.
  • When you submit it, a small Cloudflare Worker on forms.getmabillon.com turns it into an email to our team's Gmail inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing. The Worker keeps no copy. Like any web request, Cloudflare sees your IP address and browser details (user agent) when you submit, and the Worker uses your IP address only to limit repeat submissions.
  • A hidden field filters out bots. There is no captcha, cookie or tracking script.
  • Please don't put case details in the message.

The software, in short

Local by default; cloud AI only when your case allows it and you opt in. A case uses cloud AI only when you attest at setup that its protective order allows it and you set up your own key, and never for a case marked as possibly containing CSAM. Mabillon sends us no telemetry.
